Jeroen Kortekaas is a Dutch architect currently working in Dubai, UAE. Since 2000 he has been working for two architectural offices in The Netherlands on various small and large-scale projects. He received his Masters in Architecture from the University of Technology Delft in March 2004 and is registered as an architect by Dutch law. In 2006 he decided to expand his horizon and moved to a bustling Shanghai. There he worked on a variety of projects, predominantly educational and commercial projects in Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin and Shenzhen. From China he moved to the next building boom in the Middle East, striving to create innovative and sustainable architecture.

Not like the usual architectural website, district_K is a weblog. Allowing easy updating and showing the progress made in the design process from conceptual phase to completion. Ideas, concepts, drawings and photos about design and architecture will be displayed on this site.
